Season 5 of The Walking Dead picks up shortly after Season 4 left off, and we follow the people of Terminus as they attempt to find a cure in Washington, D.C. As they begin to lose comrades, the fate of the group becomes unclear, more so when they gain new locales and, with them, new conflicts. The writers attempted to do a million different things during this season and even though the entire season carried a sense of uncertainty regarding the survivors future the season as a whole was rock solid acting, writing, and storylines from start to finish. I can understand people putting season 8 at their worst list, despite me being okay with it, but I seriously never got a single clue about why they love season 5 so much.
