Doesn't matter: enjoy these moments here! It could not have been more Christmassy, with multiple trees, a mesmerizing ceiling full with little lights and live piano music. a small point... when i came in to book,...the girl at the restaurant reception informed me of a dress policy, which i thought was crass... i’m middle aged, willing to spend over $500 on a meal, and know how to put shoes on... read your audience better, and abolish the dress code... weirdly, when i was dining (in a lovely sweater and slacks), the people at the table next to me were wearing ski gear, but drinking chateau margaux, so i really think the dress code needs to go... If I wanted that kind of a thoughtless, poorly executed, over-salted meal, any run-of-the mill pub grub would have sufficed.
