Single rooms in RVC are barely bigger than my bathroom at New Rez. A lot of people go into rez assuming they'll make friends just because they're in rez. That said, I'm pretty sure most residences end up being a positive experience for most people, and I think you find a community wherever you go!

Don't worry about the whole co-ed thing, some of the girls on my floor used to be quite paranoid (wearing bathing suits in the shower, even) but nothing has ever gone wrong and everyone has relaxed to the idea. Depending on the floor you live on, the floor fellows you have, the security guards (if any) and the residence director you could have a down to Earth chill experience in residence or end up with a bunch of maniacs.
